Human Rights Seminars
The SGI-sponsored exhibition "Toward a Century of Humanity--An Overview of
Human Rights in Today's World" opened in Naples, Italy, on October 18. The
exhibit attracted a greater number of guests than originally expected,
including Ersilia Salvato, vice chairperson of the Italian upper house, and
Guido Raimondi, chairman of the European Human Rights Commission. "This
exhibition expands our awareness of human rights issues and enhances the
culture of dialogue required to promote them," commented Mr. Raimondi.
"After viewing the exhibit, one need not be a legal expert to be thoroughly
versed in human rights."
