Another Way of Seeing Things

The Danish translation of The World Is Yours to Change

The film Another Way of Seeing Things won “Best Short Film” at the Third Annual Tiburon International Film Festival in San Francisco on March 19. Available on video and DVD, the film is based on SGI President Daisaku Ikeda’s book of essays The World Is Yours to Change, and recounts the views of the late British historian Arnold Toynbee on the Greco-Turkish war and the danger of accepting stereotypical images of others. Narrated by Academy Award-winning actor F. Murray Abraham and directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Cory Taylor, the film combines a narration of the essay with historical footage and other images.

The World Is Yours to Change is available in Japanese, English and, most recently, Danish.
