Choirs and an orchestra made up of members of SGI-France performed at charity concerts in Paris on March 18 and 19. The event was organized by volunteer groups in the city, and was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture. SGI-France has two choirs--the women's chorus Soleil and a male choir Clair de Lune--which both participated in the event. This year marks the ninth year Soleil has performed at the event, which embraces musical genres from jazz to pop music.

Meanwhile, in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, SGI-Brazil's Ikeda Philharmonic Orchestra of Humanism held a concert for peace on March 18 as part of the city's 150th anniversary festivities.
