Helping Taiwanese Elementary Schools

After a typhoon packing high-velocity winds of up to 184 kph and bringing torrential rains hit Taiwan on July 18, local SGI-Taiwan members, led by student division members, helped relief and cleanup activities at Mao-lin and Duo-na elementary schools in Kao-hsiung, southern Taiwan. SGI-Taiwan youth also held summer camps at both elementary schools to encourage the students, presenting books and stationery supplies to the children.
